The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.98.13

तस्मात्करञ्जगहनाद्विनिःसृत्य क्षणादिव ।
पुनः प्रहारैः प्रहरन्विद्रवत्यात्मनात्मनः ॥ १३ ॥

tasmātkarañjagahanādviniḥsṛtya kṣaṇādiva |
punaḥ prahāraiḥ praharanvidravatyātmanātmanaḥ || 13 ||

He with much difficulty extricated himself from the prickles of the Karanja furze; and began again to beat himself as before, and run in his wonted course as usual.
