The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.78.29

न सामान्याविमौ मन्ये विचित्रेयं चमत्कृतिः ।
वचोवक्रेक्षणेनैव वदत्यन्तर्विनिश्चयम् ॥ २९ ॥

na sāmānyāvimau manye vicitreyaṃ camatkṛtiḥ |
vacovakrekṣaṇenaiva vadatyantarviniścayam || 29 ||

I do not think them to be men of the ordinary kind, and the more wonderful it is, that their inward soul is exprest in the outward gestures of their faces and eyes, and in the tone and tenor of their speech.
