The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अयं कियद्बल इति सिन्धौ तिष्ठति हेलया ।
विदूरथोऽस्त्रमाग्नेयं तत्याजाशनिशब्दवत् ॥ २० ॥

ayaṃ kiyadbala iti sindhau tiṣṭhati helayā |
vidūratho'stramāgneyaṃ tatyājāśaniśabdavat || 20 ||

As Sindhu was standing still in defiance of the prowess of his adversary, Viduratha lifted his own fire-arm, and fired it with a thundering sound.
