The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.37.34

शैव्यास्तु खण्डिताः कौन्तैर्भ्रमत्कुन्तैर्विघट्टिताः ।
शवीभूता दिवं नीता दृष्टा विद्याधरा इव ॥ ३४ ॥

śaivyāstu khaṇḍitāḥ kauntairbhramatkuntairvighaṭṭitāḥ |
śavībhūtā divaṃ nītā dṛṣṭā vidyādharā iva || 34 ||

The soldiers of Sibi were pierced with the spears hurled by the Kuntas. They fell as dead bodies in the field, but their spirits fled to heaven in the form of Vidyadharas.
