The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

कान्तकाञ्चनकान्तासीत्ताम्रसंग्रामवाहिनी ।
भुक्ता गौडभटेनाङ्ग नखकेशनिकर्षणैः ॥ २२ ॥

kāntakāñcanakāntāsīttāmrasaṃgrāmavāhinī |
bhuktā gauḍabhaṭenāṅga nakhakeśanikarṣaṇaiḥ || 22 ||

The handsome gold collared army of the Tamras or tawny coloured soldiers, were dragged by the Gauda warriors, as captors snatch their fair captives by the hair.
