The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.18.15

श्रीदेव्युवाच ।
अकृत्रिमत्वं सर्गस्य कीदृशं वद सुन्दरि ।
कीदृशं कृत्रिमत्वं स्याद्यथावत्कथयेति मे ॥ १५ ॥

śrīdevyuvāca |
akṛtrimatvaṃ sargasya kīdṛśaṃ vada sundari |
kīdṛśaṃ kṛtrimatvaṃ syādyathāvatkathayeti me || 15 ||

The goddess asked said:—"Tell me fair lady, what is the nature of the real world, and what you mean, by its unreality."
