The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तदेतद्बुद्धिचित्तादिज्ञानसत्तादिरूपकम् ।
जीवाकाशः स्वतस्तत्र तारकाकाशकोशगम् ॥ २७ ॥

tadetadbuddhicittādijñānasattādirūpakam |
jīvākāśaḥ svatastatra tārakākāśakośagam || 27 ||

Now this vacuous life, which is composed of the essences of the mind, understanding and knowledge, resides in the hollow sheath of the star.
