The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.9.72

अन्येवाप्यतिरिक्तेव सैवासेव च भङ्गुरा ।
पयसीव तरङ्गाली यस्मात्फुरति दृश्यभूः ॥ ७२ ॥

anyevāpyatirikteva saivāseva ca bhaṅgurā |
payasīva taraṅgālī yasmātphurati dṛśyabhūḥ || 72 ||

It is he and the self-same being, whether you view him in one or more objects, as it is the same water that heaves itself in this one or the other wave. Thus all visible phenomena have their rise from him.
