The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.3.29

मनस्तामिव यातेन ब्रह्मणा तन्यते जगत् ।
अनन्यादात्मनः शुद्धाद्द्रवत्वमिव वारिणः ॥ २९ ॥

manastāmiva yātena brahmaṇā tanyate jagat |
ananyādātmanaḥ śuddhāddravatvamiva vāriṇaḥ || 29 ||

The world is stretched out in the model of the Divine mind, and not formed by any other holy spirit. It is as immanent in the mind of God, as fluidity is inherent in water.
