The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.3.28

कार्यकारणता ह्यत्र न किंचिदुपपद्यते ।
यादृगेव परं ब्रह्म तादृगेव जगत्त्रयम् ॥ २८ ॥

kāryakāraṇatā hyatra na kiṃcidupapadyate |
yādṛgeva paraṃ brahma tādṛgeva jagattrayam || 28 ||

But there is nothing as a cause and effect to be found in this creation, because the three worlds are but the prototypes of the archetype of the divine mind.
