The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 4.4.9; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

यथा वा —
फणि-ह्रदम् अवगाढे दारुणं पिञ्छ-चूडे
स्खलद्-अशिशिर-बाष्प-स्तोम-धौतोत्तरीया ।
निखिल-करण-वृत्ति-स्तम्भिनीम् आललम्बे
विषम गतिम् अवस्थां गोष्ठ-राजस्य राज्ञी ॥४.४.९॥

yathā vā —
phaṇi-hradam avagāḍhe dāruṇaṃ piñcha-cūḍe
skhalad-aśiśira-bāṣpa-stoma-dhautottarīyā |
nikhila-karaṇa-vṛtti-stambhinīm ālalambe
viṣama gatim avasthāṃ goṣṭha-rājasya rājñī
||4.4.9||

English translation

Another example:
“When Kṛṣṇa entered the fearful lake of Kāliya, Yaśodā’s upper cloth became wet from hot tears. She reached a state in which all her senses ceased to function.”
