Rig Veda 10.44.9

इ॒मं बि॑भर्मि॒ सुकृ॑तं ते अङ्कु॒शं येना॑रु॒जासि॑ मघवञ्छफा॒रुज॑: । अ॒स्मिन्त्सु ते॒ सव॑ने अस्त्वो॒क्यं॑ सु॒त इ॒ष्टौ म॑घवन्बो॒ध्याभ॑गः ॥
इमं बिभर्मि सुकृतं ते अङ्कुशं येनारुजासि मघवञ्छफारुजः । अस्मिन्त्सु ते सवने अस्त्वोक्यं सुत इष्टौ मघवन्बोध्याभगः ॥
imam bibharmi sukṛtaṃ te aṅkuśaṃ yenārujāsi maghavañ chaphārujaḥ | asmin su te savane astv okyaṃ suta iṣṭau maghavan bodhy ābhagaḥ ||

English translation:

“I bear this your well-made goad, (excited) by which, Maghavat, you urge on the slayers of powerfulfoes. Let your abode be at this my sacrifice. Accept, Maghavat, who are to be adored, (my praise) at the sacrificeat which (the Soma) is effused.”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

Goad: aṅkuśa, metaphorically for praise, which urges or goads one to exertion;slayers of powerful foes: i.e., the elephants, airāvata, etc., śaphārujaḥ = striking with the hoof; śamba itivrānāma śamayatervā śātayatevrvā: Nirukta 5.24
