Rig Veda 8.26.24

Sanskrit text [Accents, Plain, Transliterated]:

त्वां हि सु॒प्सर॑स्तमं नृ॒षद॑नेषु हू॒महे॑ । ग्रावा॑णं॒ नाश्व॑पृष्ठं मं॒हना॑ ॥
त्वां हि सुप्सरस्तमं नृषदनेषु हूमहे । ग्रावाणं नाश्वपृष्ठं मंहना ॥
tvāṃ hi supsarastamaṃ nṛṣadaneṣu hūmahe | grāvāṇaṃ nāśvapṛṣṭham maṃhanā ||

English translation:

“We invoke you who are of graceful form, extending through your magnitude your limbs in all directions,to our religious rites, like the stone (for bruising the Soma).”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

All directions: aśvapṛṣṭham = borne on a horse'sback;
