Rig Veda 6.74.3

सोमा॑रुद्रा यु॒वमे॒तान्य॒स्मे विश्वा॑ त॒नूषु॑ भेष॒जानि॑ धत्तम् । अव॑ स्यतं मु॒ञ्चतं॒ यन्नो॒ अस्ति॑ त॒नूषु॑ ब॒द्धं कृ॒तमेनो॑ अ॒स्मत् ॥
सोमारुद्रा युवमेतान्यस्मे विश्वा तनूषु भेषजानि धत्तम् । अव स्यतं मुञ्चतं यन्नो अस्ति तनूषु बद्धं कृतमेनो अस्मत् ॥
somārudrā yuvam etāny asme viśvā tanūṣu bheṣajāni dhattam | ava syatam muñcataṃ yan no asti tanūṣu baddhaṃ kṛtam eno asmat ||

English translation:

Soma and Rudra, grant all these medicamens for (the ailments of) our bodies; detach, set free, the perpetrated iniquity that has been bound up in our person ns.”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

I.e. disease regarded as the consequence and evidence of some committed sn; and the removal of the malady is proof of its expiation
