Consisting of 18 books, the Mahabharata details the history and legends concerning ancient India (Bharata), including a major battle campaign involving the Kauravas and the Pandavas, also known as the Kurukshetra War. Verse 7.21.26

एकायनगता ह्येते पीडयेयुर्यतव्रतम् ।
अरक्ष्यमाणं शलभा यथा दीपं मुमूर्षवः ।
असंशयं कृतास्त्राश्च पर्याप्ताश्चापि वारणे ॥ २६ ॥

ekāyanagatā hyete pīḍayeyuryatavratam |
arakṣyamāṇaṃ śalabhā yathā dīpaṃ mumūrṣavaḥ |
asaṃśayaṃ kṛtāstrāśca paryāptāścāpi vāraṇe || 26 ||
