The Lakshminarayana Samhita verse 2.59.15 (Sanskrit text), including grammatical analysis, glossary and relevant print editions. The work is written in Puranic style and divided into four books according to the four Yugas. This is verse 15 of chapter 59 of Khanda 2 (treta-yuga-santana). वणिग्दुःखेन तु प्रेतः क्षणं वै दुःखितोऽभवत् ।
स्वबन्धुमिव वणिजं प्राह शोकं तु मा कुरु ॥ १५ ॥

vaṇigduḥkhena tu pretaḥ kṣaṇaṃ vai duḥkhito'bhavat |
svabandhumiva vaṇijaṃ prāha śokaṃ tu mā kuru || 15 ||
