दान-तीर्थे ह्य् अन्न-दानं
यः करोति महा-मनाः
ऋण-त्रयं विमुच्याथ
याति विश्षोः परं पदम्
dāna-tīrthe hy anna-dānaṃ
yaḥ karoti mahā-manāḥ
ṛṇa-trayaṃ vimucyātha
yāti viśṣoḥ paraṃ padam
dāna-tīrthe—at Dāna-tīrtha; hy—indeed; anna-dānam—gift of food; yaḥ—who; karoti—does; mahā-manaḥ—noble-hearted; ṛṇa-trayam—three kinds of debt; vimucya—becoming free; atha—then; yāti—goes; viśṣoḥ—of Lord Viṣṇu; param— to the supreme; padam—abode.
English translation of verse 6.19.36:
A noble-hearted person who gives charity at Dāna-tīrtha becomes free of the three debts and goes to the transcendental abode of Lord Viṣṇu.
