The Garga-samhita Verse 5.18.10, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 18 (Uddhava Hears the Gopis’ Words and Returns to Mathura) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

श्री-तमो-वृत्तय ऊचुः
वृन्दा येन छलं प्राप्ता
छलिना बलिना पुरा
छलमय्या बलिन्याद्या
कुब्जया छलितो ह्य् अयम्

śrī-tamo-vṛttaya ūcuḥ
vṛndā yena chalaṃ prāptā
chalinā balinā purā
chalamayyā balinyādyā
kubjayā chalito hy ayam

śrī-tamo-vṛttaya ūcuḥ—the tamo-vṛtti gopīs said; vṛndāVrnda; yena—by whom; chalam—trick; prāptā—attained; chalinā—by a trick; balinā—by Bali; purābefore; chalamayyā—treacerous; balinyādyā—headed by Balini; kubjayā—by Kubjā; chalitaḥ—cheated; hi—indeed; ayamHe.

English translation of verse 5.18.10:

The tamo-vṛtti gopīs said: Kṛṣṇa cheated many others in the past. He cheated Bali Mahārāja and He also cheated Kubjā.
