श्री-नारद उवाच
एवं तस्य वचः श्रुत्वा
भगवान् वृजिनार्दनः
चाणूरेणापि युयुधे
मुष्टिकेन बलो बली
śrī-nārada uvāca
evaṃ tasya vacaḥ śrutvā
bhagavān vṛjinārdanaḥ
cāṇūreṇāpi yuyudhe
muṣṭikena balo balī
śrī-nārada uvāca—Śrī Nārada said; evam—thus; tasya—of him; vacaḥ—the words; śrutvā—hearing; bhagavān—the Supreme Personality of Godhead; vṛjinārdanaḥ—who removes all distress; cāṇūreṇa—with Canura; api—also; yuyudhe—fought; muṣṭikena—with Mustika; balaḥ—Balarāma; balī—strong.
English translation of verse 5.7.45:
Śrī Nārada said: Hearing these words, Lord Kṛṣṇa, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who removes all troubles, proceeded to fight with Cāṇūra. Then Balarāma proceeded to fight with Muṣṭika.
