आकर्षणं नोदनं च
भुजाभ्यां भुज-दण्डयोः
चक्रतुः पश्यतां नृणां
गजाव् इव जिगीषया

ākarṣaṇaṃ nodanaṃ ca
bhujābhyāṃ bhuja-daṇḍayoḥ
cakratuḥ paśyatāṃ nṛṇāṃ
gajāv iva jigīṣayā

ākarṣaṇam—pulling; nodanam—pushing; ca—and; bhujābhyām—with both arms; bhuja-daṇḍayoḥ—of the arms; cakratuḥ—did; paśyatām—watching; nṛṇām—of the people; gajāv—two elephants; iva—like; jigīṣayā—wishing victory.

English translation of verse 5.7.46:

As the people watched, Kṛṣṇa and Cāṇura wrestled, pulling and pushing each other with both arms. They were like two elephants trying to defeat each other.
