The Garga-samhita Verse 1.14.18, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 1 of Chapter 14 (The Liberation of Shakatasura and Trinavarta) of Canto 1 (goloka-khanda).

श्री-नारद उवाच
हिरण्याक्ष-सुतो दैत्य
उत्कचो नाम मैथिल
लोमशस्याश्रमे गच्छन्
वृक्षांश् चूर्णी-चकार ह

śrī-nārada uvāca
hiraṇyākṣa-suto daitya
utkaco nāma maithila
lomaśasyāśrame gacchan
vṛkṣāṃś cūrṇī-cakāra ha

śrī-nāradaḥ uvāca—Śrī Nārada said; hiranyākṣa-sutaḥthe son of Hiranyākṣa; daityaḥthe demon; utkaco nāmanamed Utkaca; maithilaO king of Mithilā; lomaśasya—of Lomaśa Muni; āśrame—in the hermitage; gacchan—going; vṛkṣān—trees; cūrṇī-cakāra ha—broke.

English translation of verse 1.14.18:

Śrī Nārada said: O king of Mithilā, one day the demon named Utkaca, who was Hiraṇyākṣa's son, went to Lomaśa Muni's hermitage and broke some trees.
