The Garga-samhita Verse 1.5.37, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. परिपूर्णतमं साक्षाच्
छ्री-कृष्णं विद्धि मैथिल
कंसादीनां वधार्थाय
प्राप्तो ऽयं भूमि-मण्डले

paripūrṇatamaṃ sākṣāc
chrī-kṛṣṇaṃ viddhi maithila
kaṃsādīnāṃ vadhārthāya
prāpto 'yaṃ bhūmi-maṇḍale

paripūrṇatamaṃ sākṣātthe original Supreme Personality of Godhead; śrī-kṛṣṇam—Śrī Kṛṣṇa; viddhi—know; maithila—O king of Mithilā; kaṃsa—by Kaṃsa; ādīnām—headed by; vadha—killing; arthāya—for the purpose; prāptaḥ—

English translation of verse 1.5.37:

attained; ayam—He; bhūmi-maṇḍale—on the circle of the earth.

O king of Mithilā, please understand that Śrī Kṛṣṇa, who went to the earth to kill the demons headed by Kaṃsa, is the original Supreme Personality of Godhead.
