The Sanskrit edition of the Apastamba Grihya-sutra with the commentaries of Haradatta (called the Anakula-vritti) and Sudarshana (called the Grihyatatparyadarshana-vyakhya). The Apastamba Grihyasutra is a short treatise on Vedic rituals which, together with the Hiranyakeshin-grihya-sutra, belongs to the Taittiriya School of the Black Yajur-Veda. sthālīpākādārabhya trirātramubhayoḥ dampatyoḥ adhaśśayyā nopari khaṭvādau /
brahmacarya maithunavarjanaṃ, kṣāralavaṇayośca varjanaṃ bhojane /
tatra kṣāralavaṇavarjanaṃ sthālīpākāt prāgadhvani na bhavati /
brahmacarya tu tatrāpi bhavati /
caturthyā samāveśanavidhānāt idaṃ tu brahmacarya vacanaṃ dārḍhyaratham /
yadyapi sahaśayanamubhayoḥ, tathāpi maithunavarjane yatnaḥ kārya iti //7//

Sudarśana’s Gṛhyatātparyadarśana-vyākhyā (sūtra 8.8)

ubhayo rdampatyoḥ sthālīpākādārabhya trirātrama dhaśśayyā syāt, na tu khṭvādau /
nāpi pṛthakśayyā, ubhayoriti grahaṇāt /

tathāṣṭāṅgamaithunavarjanalakṣaṇaṃ brahmacarya syāt /
maithunasyāṣṭāṅgatvamapi bṛhaspatinoktam--

'smaraṇaṃ kīrtanaṃ keliḥ prekṣaṇaṃ guhyabhāṣaṇam /
saṅkalpo'dhyavasāyaśca kriyānirvṛtireva ca //
etanmaithunamaṣṭāṅgaṃ pravadanti manīṣiṇaḥ'; //
iti /

etacca sthālīpākāt prāgapyadhvani,'śeṣaṃ samāveśane japet'(āpa.gṛ.8-10) ityuttaratra kramavidhānāt /
ata evātra sūtre śayyaikyāt

durvāramapi maithunamatiprayatnena varjanīyamityevamarthastānniṣedhaḥ /
tathaiva kṣāralavaṇavarjanaṃ ca syāt /

cakārānmadhumāṃsadantadhāvanāñjanābhyañjanānulepanasnagdhāraṇānāṃ varjanamapi /
yadvā brahmacaryapadenaiva madhvādi saptakamapi niṣiddham /

cakārastūktasamuccayārtha eva /
