Kulabhūṣaṇa (कुलभूषण) refers to one of the Sages performing kāyotsarga on Mount Vaṃśaśaila, according to the Jain Ramayana and chapter 7.5 [The kidnapping of Sītā] of Hemacandra’s 11th century Triṣaṣṭiśalākāpuruṣacaritra: an ancient Sanskrit epic poem narrating the history and legends of sixty-three illustrious persons in Jainism.—Accordingly: “Then Rāma, from curiosity and urged by Lakṣmaṇa, climbed the mountain [Vaṃśaśaila] and saw two Munis [e.g., Kulabhūṣaṇa] engaged in kāyotsarga. [...] Then the sun set and the starry night unfolded. A god, Analaprabha, came with several Vetālas created by magic. He himself had the form of a Vetāla, and, hard-hearted, began to attack the two sages, splitting the sky with loud laughter. [...]”.
