According to the Rājanighaṇṭu (verse 9.97), the dhārā variety of Kadamba variety has 7 synonyms: Prāvṛṣya, Pulakī, Bhṛṅgavallabha, Medhāgamapriya, Nīpa, Prāvṛṣeṇya and Kadambaka.
