This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 64.33

नानाद्विजसंघरुतं वरपादपमण्डितं ।
वरपुष्पफलोपेतं त्रिसाहस्राय यावता ॥ ३३ ॥

nānādvijasaṃgharutaṃ varapādapamaṇḍitaṃ |
varapuṣpaphalopetaṃ trisāhasrāya yāvatā || 33 ||

In which flocks of various birds were singing; which was encircled by fair plants and laden with noble flowers and fruits up to the number of three thousand. (33)
