This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 46.19

प्रत्यग्रहेसि मालां आलम्बेसि मुद्रिकां प्रमोदन्तो ।
अपि मरणं अभ्युपेमि मनोहराये व समागमं ॥ १९ ॥

pratyagrahesi mālāṃ ālambesi mudrikāṃ pramodanto |
api maraṇaṃ abhyupemi manoharāye va samāgamaṃ || 19 ||

Joyfully he seized the garland and took hold of the ring, and said, “I’ll go to my death or to reunion with Manohara.” (19)
