This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.
Verse 34.139
अथास्य हासो संभवति न मे सत्वा विजानथ ।
सर्वज्ञो सर्वदर्शावी भविष्यं पुरुषोत्तमः ॥ १३९ ॥
athāsya hāso saṃbhavati na me satvā vijānatha |
sarvajño sarvadarśāvī bhaviṣyaṃ puruṣottamaḥ || 139 ||
But he laughs at that, and says, “You do not know me for what I am. For I shall become the Supreme of Men, all-knowing and all-seeing (139)
