This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 34.66

यावच् च नरप्रवरो उत्तमलक्षणसमङ्गि अस्थासि ।
माताये कुक्षिस्मिं स्मृतिमतिमां संप्रजानो च ॥ ६६ ॥

yāvac ca narapravaro uttamalakṣaṇasamaṅgi asthāsi |
mātāye kukṣismiṃ smṛtimatimāṃ saṃprajāno ca || 66 ||

That the Very Best of Men, bearing the marks of excellence, mindful and self-possessed has taken his place in his mother’s womb. (66)
