This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.
Verse 17.28
अथ प्रतिपूर्णे दशमे मासे माता प्रभूतपुण्यस्य ।
शुद्धोदनं उपगम्य इदम् अब्रवीत् दृष्टसंकल्पा ॥ २८ ॥
atha pratipūrṇe daśame māse mātā prabhūtapuṇyasya |
śuddhodanaṃ upagamya idam abravīt dṛṣṭasaṃkalpā || 28 ||
Then when the tenth month had run its course, the mother of the Virtuous One went to Shuddhodana and said to him, “My course is clear to me. (28)
