This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 2.7

अयःप्राकारपरिक्षिप्ता अयसा प्रतिकुब्जिताः ।
तेषाम् अयोमयी भूमिः प्रज्वलिता तेजसायुता ॥ ७ ॥

ayaḥprākāraparikṣiptā ayasā pratikubjitāḥ |
teṣām ayomayī bhūmiḥ prajvalitā tejasāyutā || 7 ||

They are encircled by a wall of iron, with a vault of iron above. The floor is of hot and glowing iron. (7)
