The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.189.13

असत्ये सत्यबुद्ध्यैव बद्धो भवति भावनात् ।
बहुशो भावयत्यन्तर्नानात्वमनुधावति ॥ १३ ॥

asatye satyabuddhyaiva baddho bhavati bhāvanāt |
bahuśo bhāvayatyantarnānātvamanudhāvati || 13 ||

Then it becomes confined in that body, by its belief of the unreality as a sober reality; and then it thinks of many things within itself, and goes on seeking and running after them all.
