The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

मणिमन्त्रौषधिद्रव्यैः क्वचिदव्यभिचारिणी ।
क्वचित्सव्यभिचारा चित्सत्यस्वप्नाभिधा स्मृता ॥ ३ ॥

maṇimantrauṣadhidravyaiḥ kvacidavyabhicāriṇī |
kvacitsavyabhicārā citsatyasvapnābhidhā smṛtā || 3 ||

A dream that is caused by use of some gem or drug or by effect of some mantra or amulet, comes to pass in actu, whether it is favourable or not to the dreamer.
