The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.145.29

अध्वगं संभ्रमवशात्तप्तधूलिविधूसरम् ।
दूरादमृतवद्दृष्टं स्निग्धच्छायाध्वपादपम् ॥ २९ ॥

adhvagaṃ saṃbhramavaśāttaptadhūlividhūsaram |
dūrādamṛtavaddṛṣṭaṃ snigdhacchāyādhvapādapam || 29 ||

It sees the fearful wayfarer, covered over by the burning sand of the parching desert; and looking wistfully on the distant tree by the way side, spreading its cooling ambrosial shade over the parched ground.
