The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

प्रतरन्मृगतृष्णाम्बुसरत्सारसरूपि च ।
स्थलान्यदृष्टपूर्वाणि भूतपूर्वतरूणि च ॥ २८ ॥

prataranmṛgatṛṣṇāmbusaratsārasarūpi ca |
sthalānyadṛṣṭapūrvāṇi bhūtapūrvatarūṇi ca || 28 ||

The moving sands spreading about, and flying like a flight of storks in the air; the landscape appearing otherwise than before, and the former verdure of the trees, are no more coming to sight.
