The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.139.14

इत्यादिसर्गे स्वात्मैव चेतितः परमात्मना ।
तेनैषाद्यापि नियतिर्नाबुधानां निवर्तते ॥ १४ ॥

ityādisarge svātmaiva cetitaḥ paramātmanā |
tenaiṣādyāpi niyatirnābudhānāṃ nivartate || 14 ||

It was in this manner that the supreme spirit, hath ordained the mind and vital breath, in the very beginning of creation; and therefore this law of their co-operation, continues unaltered to this day.
