The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तरङ्गा इव तोयेऽन्तर्नीहारा इव वारिदे ।
मेघा वायाविवामोदा व्योमनीव निलिल्यिरे ॥ ८ ॥

taraṅgā iva toye'ntarnīhārā iva vāride |
meghā vāyāvivāmodā vyomanīva nililyire || 8 ||

As the waves cease to roll in a dried up channel, and the snows to fall under the clouded sky; and as the clouds fly before the storm, and the fragrance of flowers is borne away by the wind.
