The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.81.13

तथा नाम सुदीर्घा सा यथा तस्याः शिरःखुरम् ।
मया दृष्टं प्रयत्नेन चिरोर्ध्वाधोगमागमैः ॥ १३ ॥

tathā nāma sudīrghā sā yathā tasyāḥ śiraḥkhuram |
mayā dṛṣṭaṃ prayatnena cirordhvādhogamāgamaiḥ || 13 ||

In a word her stature was so tall and towering, that it was by my diurnal journey in the upper and lower skies, that I came to see the top of her head, and the base of her feet.
