The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

स्वदशास्वादनरता वातयन्त्रसुचारिता ।
रोदःसद्मनि सूर्याख्या दीप्यते दिवि दीपिका ॥ १० ॥

svadaśāsvādanaratā vātayantrasucāritā |
rodaḥsadmani sūryākhyā dīpyate divi dīpikā || 10 ||

The sunlight is the lamp of his light in heavenly mansion, and scatters its rays on all the ten sides of the skies, by means of their conductor of air.
