The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

रम्ये रोदिमि मध्यस्थे पदार्थे यामि सौम्यताम् ।
हृष्याम्यशोभने दीना न जाने किमहं स्थिता ॥ ६९ ॥

ramye rodimi madhyasthe padārthe yāmi saumyatām |
hṛṣyāmyaśobhane dīnā na jāne kimahaṃ sthitā || 69 ||

I weep at seeing whatever is handsome, and keep quiet at what is moderate; I delight in whatsoever beseems to be ugly, and I am happy in my utter insensibility of every thing.
