The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

क्वचित्प्रकटसर्वार्थो मनो मतिमतामिव ।
क्वचिदत्यन्तगहनो मूर्खश्रोत्रियचित्तवत् ॥ १३ ॥

kvacitprakaṭasarvārtho mano matimatāmiva |
kvacidatyantagahano mūrkhaśrotriyacittavat || 13 ||

On one side all things were as clear as the minds of intelligent men, and on the other, there was as impervious a gloom as it hangs over the minds of unlettered Brahmans.
