ऋक्षचक्रविहीनानि निष्कालकलनानि च ।
मूकसंकेतसाराणि भूतजालानि कानिचित् ॥ ५२ ॥

ṛkṣacakravihīnāni niṣkālakalanāni ca |
mūkasaṃketasārāṇi bhūtajālāni kānicit || 52 ||

Some creatures have no knowledge of astronomical calculation, and are ignorant of the course of time; while there are others quite deaf and dumb, and conduct themselves by signs and motions of their bodies.
