The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.51.22

सम्यग्ज्ञानेन भूतानि ज्ञस्य देहतया सह ।
पीठबन्धं विमुञ्चन्ति गतकाल इवाम्बुदाः ॥ २२ ॥

samyagjñānena bhūtāni jñasya dehatayā saha |
pīṭhabandhaṃ vimuñcanti gatakāla ivāmbudāḥ || 22 ||

By right knowledge all material objects, together with the bodies of wise men, dissolve like the bodies of clouds, in their proper season.
