The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.46.21

यस्मै न स्वदते दृश्यं स संबुद्ध इति स्मृतः ।
न स्वदन्ते यदा भोगाः सम्यग्बोधस्तथोदितः ॥ २१ ॥

yasmai na svadate dṛśyaṃ sa saṃbuddha iti smṛtaḥ |
na svadante yadā bhogāḥ samyagbodhastathoditaḥ || 21 ||

He whom the visibles do not delight, is known as the most enlightened man; and he who takes no delight in the enjoyables, is deemed as the full wise man.
