The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

विपश्चित्संगमैर्बुद्धिं नीत्वा परमतीक्ष्णताम् ।
अज्ञानलतिका सैका कणशः क्रियतामलम् ॥ २४ ॥

vipaścitsaṃgamairbuddhiṃ nītvā paramatīkṣṇatām |
ajñānalatikā saikā kaṇaśaḥ kriyatāmalam || 24 ||

Having sharpened your understanding by associating with the wise, do you cut short the growth of the plant of your ignorance by degrees, and by little and little.
