Verse 7.29.6

भूतानि मृत्युकार्येषु संग्रामादिषु निर्दह ।
दावानलस्तृणानीव वासनाक्रान्तमूढवत् ॥ ६ ॥

bhūtāni mṛtyukāryeṣu saṃgrāmādiṣu nirdaha |
dāvānalastṛṇānīva vāsanākrāntamūḍhavat || 6 ||

Fools that are allured by their greediness of gain, meet with their fate in hazardous exploits and warfare; and it is fit that they should burn with the fire of their desire, like straws consumed in a conflagration.
