The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.12.19

सहस्रखुरमूर्धाक्षिकरवक्त्रहितोहितम् ।
नानाद्रितनुदिग्देशसरित्प्रादेशमात्रकम् ॥ १९ ॥

sahasrakhuramūrdhākṣikaravaktrahitohitam |
nānādritanudigdeśasaritprādeśamātrakam || 19 ||

It is personified in the form of Viraj, with his thousand heads and feet, and as many arms, faces and eyes; and his body filling all sides, with all the mountains, rivers and countries situated in it.
