The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.128.28

कूटस्थः केवलो व्यापी चिदचिच्छक्तिमानहम् ।
घटाभावे घटाकाशकलशाकाशयोर्यथा ॥ २८ ॥

kūṭasthaḥ kevalo vyāpī cidacicchaktimānaham |
ghaṭābhāve ghaṭākāśakalaśākāśayoryathā || 28 ||

As the vacuity contained in the hollow of a pot, becomes one with the universal and all pervading vacuum after the pitcher is broken; so the human soul vanishes into the supreme spirit, after it flies from the confines of the body after its destruction.
