The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.128.24

आनुलोम्यात्स्मृता सृष्टिः प्रातिलोम्येन संहृतिः ।
अतः स्थानत्रयं त्यक्त्वा तुरीयं पदमव्ययम् ॥ २४ ॥

ānulomyātsmṛtā sṛṣṭiḥ prātilomyena saṃhṛtiḥ |
ataḥ sthānatrayaṃ tyaktvā turīyaṃ padamavyayam || 24 ||

Think of creation in the direct method, and of its destruction in the reversed order; and then betake yourself to the fourth stage of turiya, after you have passed over the three preceding steps.
