The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.106.47

महाराजो महाराज्ञीं भूषयित्वेदमाह ताम् ।
राजसे मृगशावाक्षि लक्ष्मीरिव नवोदिता ॥ ४७ ॥

mahārājo mahārājñīṃ bhūṣayitvedamāha tām |
rājase mṛgaśāvākṣi lakṣmīriva navoditā || 47 ||

The noble lord having embellished his noble lady with his own hands, thus spoke to her after her toilet; “O thou fawn eyed fairy, thou art as graceful as the goddess of grace and prosperity”.
